My morning started off as usual. I know you all know the drill. The alarm goes, you get up, start making your little ones lunch while listening to the morning news. Then it’s time to get dressed and it’s St. Patrick’s day so you look for the green St. Patrick’s day shirt to show support.
As you head out the door you go through your days check list and wonder how you will tackle the day. You don’t expect anything magical and when something magical happens, you just have to share it.
I am taking my car in tomorrow to get my wiper fixed and watching the news they said that we are in for a long 3 plus week stretch of good weather. I figured that since the car is going in tomorrow, I might as well also switch my winter tires back to my summer tires. I hate this part: they are large SUV heavy tires and every year that passes, it gets harder for me to load them in the car as I get weaker from my disease.
Anyway, just as I brought 2 of the tires down from storage, I was approaching my car thinking of how I am going to manage in picking these tires up in order to put them in the car. Two seconds later my neighbor was out for a walk and ran over to me and put the 2 tires in my car and then came with me back to the storage room for the other 2 and put them in as well. Then, to top it off, he asked me when I was switching them, and told me that tomorrow when I come back after picking up Caitlyn from school to knock on his door and he will put the winter tires back in my storage room for me.
When I hear stories like this it really truly warms my heart ❤. Then it happens to me and I feel like my heart is going to burst with so much joy.
Very lucky start today on this St. Patrick’s day and a reminder that there are many good people out there 😊❤ and I am glad that I live next to one.
