Under The Dark Cloud

My name is Daniela and I have decided to join and write about my life for my daughter. This is my digital letter to her. Starting from the age of 40. I hope not to get into too much detail as I want this blog to be more about what life really is like with (SPMS ) Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. It was June 2014, a few days before Canada day; your dad arrives from Cuba. At the time I was still living with your grandparents (Baba and Dedo). The 1st week or 2nd I thought everything was good with your dad and your grandparents. I was working, and many times exceedingly long hours. Then it all started, and I knew it would. All 3 of them are explosive. I was hoping that I had more time to get your dad working first and then use all the money I had saved up to get us a house 1st before anything else. As time went on the war in the house was becoming nuclear. I would be at work all day and come home to “he, she, they said, did, didn’t do.” I knew I had to get your dad and me out of there. Every second of free time that I had, I spent on looking for work for your dad and a place for us to live. September 2014 moving day and your dad started working.
