The Parenting Group has had many initiatives that care for the community. For this Earth Day, we set a date for April to clean up 1 bag at a time and make our environment a little cleaner. Some children cleaned up with parent’s around the community and buildings, while others joined in on other community clean-ups.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Clean up around our building\u2026in support of our Earth Day. A little bit of effort counts. When my daughter and I were doing the cleaning, quite few residents praised us. You can do the same. My son was so surprised with the amount of garbage outside our building that he said I am going to come every Saturday to help clean up \u201cOur Earth\u201d-Rabiya<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So glad that I did the community clean-up activity from TNO on Earth Day. We cleaned the Flemingdon Park altogether; there were even some seniors coming out to join. I am happy to devote myself to help our community becoming clean and return our earth a beautiful environment! -Chia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We care about our children and each other’s children and together we strive for a healthier world for everyone. There are many ways we can continue the challenge and keep our community clean. We can also set new goals to create change for a better future. Can you think of ways to help save our planet? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, how can we buy responsibly? If anyone has any tips or ideas please get your children to share and write what they say in the comment section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
