During class, Caitlyn wrote me a note because she wanted to, and then she wrote one for her Dad because it was his birthday. I was busy and Caitlyn was on line schooling. In the afternoon I just needed to get out and I wanted to go and check out a park and a splash pad that I know wasn’t there a few years ago among other things. I’ve been on Google maps lately…lol…Caitlyn surprisingly didn’t want to go but I explained to her that I needed to get out and I promised her that she would have fun, and she did. The area surprised me, a lot of work was done to it. Came home after 5pm, got Caitlyn settled, let the bird out, getting and having our dinner, not thinking about her dad, not my responsibility. I have a lot of other things to worry about and Caitlyn is only 5. No one calls me on my birthday, Mother’s day; Caitlyn doesn’t remember unless I tell her. I make my own birthday cake, 😊 but Caitlyn blows out my candles 😁 . I in the back of my mind am thinking her dad will call when he is done work and they can talk. I’ve never not given the phone to her. He called around 6:30 and when I picked up he just started yelling and screaming at me because Caitlyn hadn’t called him to wish him a happy birthday. I tried to remind him that he is not my concern and that she is only 5. He tried to blame me and I put it back on him. He knows my illness and that I don’t have enough strength to cut watermelon for her and since April I’ve told him every time that he comes to bring her a watermelon and cut it for her. He has yet to bring her a watermelon and every time he comes he says he forgot and I didn’t remind him.

Am I missing something here?
Anyway, he didn’t like that I brought up the watermelon and hung up without talking to her.

Talk about stirring the pot…

People need to take a good look in the mirror before pointing a finger. It was Caitlyn’s Dad’s birthday and in the morning I had mentioned it to Caitlyn.
